Hello all! My name is Josie Amoo and I am the new Nebraska State President. I am a senior at Scottsbluff High School where I have been a HOSA member for three years. I have been the Scottsbluff Chapter President for 2 years, and competed in over 5 events in my HOSA Career. I can’t wait to continue my HOSA journey and navigate student healthcare with the new officer team, my local chapter and all of our wonderful members and advisors. Outside of HOSA, I am involved in track and field, National Honor Society, Link Crew, Math Club, DECA, Student Senate, Key Club, and more! My career goals are always changing, but I currently want to go to medical school and become an orthopedic surgeon. I truly believe HOSA is unlike any student-led organization out there, and the opportunities it can bring and the relationships you can build will change your life. If you have any questions or concerns regarding Nebraska HOSA, COVID-19, or just want to say hello, feel free to email me!
