Nadia Aboeata
Hi everyone! My name is Nadia Aboeata, and I am a senior at Westside High School. I am incredibly honored to serve as your Nebraska HOSA State President this year! Outside of HOSA, I enjoy being involved in leadership, service, and journalism opportunities throughout my school and community. In my free time, I enjoy reading, volunteering, singing in choir, playing tennis, and spending time with friends. After high school, I hope to study medicine and eventually pursue a career in dermatology or surgery. HOSA has given me so many amazing opportunities and friendships, and I cannot wait to see everything we accomplish together this year!

Hello! I’m Leah, a senior at Millard West High School and your HOSA Vice president this year. I enjoy volunteering with local nonprofits, engaging in advocacy efforts, gardening, and junk journaling. Ashmiza Shaik
Hey! I’m Ashmiza and I am a senior at Millard North. This year will be my 4th year in HOSA and I’m super hype to give back to the community as Secretary! Outside of school, I’m a competitive speech and debater and volunteer with statewide organizations. In my freetime, I love shopping and trying new cuisine. After highschool, I plan on studying biochem and hope to become a cosmetic dermatologist. Excited to see where this year takes us!

Jocelyn Watson
Hi everyone! My name is Jocelyn Watson, and I’m honored to serve as your Vice President of Competitive Events this year. I will be a senior at Papillion La Vista High School, where I’m involved in Cheer, Show Choir, Health Academy, NHS, HOSA, Tri-M, and Senior Committee. Outside of school, I work as a CNA, coach gymnastics, teach at church, and love spending time with family and friends. After high school, I plan to study Biology with hopes of becoming a Pediatrician. I’m excited to help create meaningful and memorable experiences for members across Nebraska while encouraging others to grow in their leadership and healthcare journeys. Hi everyone! My name is Risha Gumudavalli, and I’m honored to serve as your Vice President of Membership! I am a senior at Lincoln East High School, where I serve as my chapter’s HOSA President, the Vice President of Communications in Key Club, a student ambassador, and am involved in swim. In my free time, I love to read, cook, shop, and spend time with friends and family. After high school, I plan to pursue a career as a pediatrician.
