How can I connect with a local HOSA chapter?
Chapters are happy to connect with healthcare professionals and organizations. Nebraska HOSA chapters and their advisors are shown on this map. If you have any questions about how to get in touch, please reach out to [email protected].
How can I support the start of a new chapter?
Support from a local organization or facility can go a long way in helping a chapter get started. If you already have a teacher, school nurse, or administrator contact at the school, have a conversation to express your interest. You can also reach out to [email protected] to learn next steps.
HOW can I support a chapter?
It depends on the chapter, but some common needs include:
- Guest speakers
- Supporting students in learning and practicing competitive event skills
- Health facility tours
- Financial support - membership dues, registration fees, travel costs
- An additional chaperone when traveling to events
How can I connect with the 1,800+ members of Nebraska HOSA?
- Host a breakout session at a HOSA conference.
- Host a table or sponsor the Fall Leadership Conference or the State Leadership Conference.
- Judge competitive events at the State Leadership Conference.
